Karate, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Kung-fu, Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, Capoiera, Yoga, Wing-Chun.  These are just some of the famous martial arts disciplines known to world over.  In Asia almost every country can claim an ancient martial art.  Including the Philippines.  It si called Kalintaw w/c means "The Way of Fighting".
Of all the martial arts, Kalintaw is perhaps one of the least well known.  "Kali" which means bladed fighting, and "Arnis", which means stick fighting, are two combat methods for which the Philippines is readily identified.  Kali and Arnis are also a part of Kalintaw, which incorporates a much wider system.
